Please meet Officer Max!   Although he may not look like it, Max is one of the best drug dogs in Oklahoma! Cataracts however caused Max to be retired early.   When Estelle from Okie Dokie Cocker Spaniel Rescue told us about Max we knew we had to step in.   Using funds raised by Max's previous handler and funds raised from private donations, The Bella Foundation was able to pay to have Max's cataracts removed.  Now Max is back on the beat doing what he does best!

LOUIE was found on the side of the street after being hit by a car.  Although he survived, his front right leg did not and had to be removed.  Don't tell "lucky" LOUIE he's any different from other cats because as far as he's concerned he isn't.  LOUIE is a happy inside cat that runs and plays just like all other cats.  Thanks to Neel Veterinary Hospital and The Bella Foundation LOUIE has a long life ahead of him and has adapted very well to life with only 3 legs.

Like all puppies, CONNANNA has lots of energy and sometimes finds herself in trouble.  One Saturday night while playing outside, CONNANNA was hit by a car.  After taking her to Neel Veterinary Hospital, her parents were relieved to discover she had no serious or permanent injuries.   The Bella Foundation was happy to help cover the costs of X-rays and pain medication.

NEVAEH was rescued as a stray and given a new home.  When she was taken in for her vaccinations it was discovered she had PARVO.   Fortunately her condition was not as severe as most and after only a couple of days in the hospital she was able to go home.  She will now be a healthy happy dog for the rest of her life.

Bladder stones had WONDER feeling pretty not-wonderful.   After receiving a call from Wonder's vet, The Bella Foundation approved funding to have the bladder stones flushed and then surgically removed from his bladder. He has made a full recovery and will return to his very grateful owner.  Thanks to Neel Veterinary Hospital and The Bella Foundation, Wonder has a long life ahead of him.

When SUE was referred to us for treatment she had Parvo and was a very sick little girl.   After spending a week in the hospital, Sue was much better and was able to return home to the people who love her.   Sue is one of the luck ones, most puppies don't survive.   Sue wants everyone to learn from her and asks that you please make sure you new puppy is vaccainated.   A few dollars spent now can save so much suffering and worry later.   Please click on this link to learn more about PARVO and how it can be prevented.

CJ is a very wonderful Pitt Bull that we rescued from going to a local Shelter.   Thanks to the cooperative efforts of City Animal Hospital, Neel Veterinary Hospital and The Bella Foundation he now has a new home with a loving family.

BUDDY was hit by a car going 40 mph.   Although he avoided two wheels he was still struck by the bumper and dragged under the car.   Most of Buddie's injuries were surface wounds but he did suffer a dislocated hip.   Thanks to Neel Veterinary Hospital and the love of his owner, he is on his way to a recovery.   Buddy still needs surgery on his leg, please go to our donation page and make a contribution to our organization so we can help get Buddy back on all fours.

PEPPER was found to have a possible cancerous tumor on his body.   His owner was extremely upset because she could not afford to have the tumor removed and was terrified she was going to lose her little friend.   I am happy to announce that The Bella Foundation was able to sponsor this little guy and he is back home with his owner living a healthy and happy life.   Through cooperation with Neel Vet Hospital, we have paid for his lumpectomy and dental cleaning.

Max Max2

MAX was found wandering the streets of OKC with no one to care for him.   When the person that found Max could not house him and was headed to a local shelter, The Bella Foundation stepped in and found Max a home.   Now Max has a warm bed, good food and all the belly scratches he wants.   Through cooperation of VAW and The Bella Foundation, Max has received all his shots, has been microchipped and neutered.
